This is my 3rd 12 cup Coffeemaker. I have had to replace the original coffeemaker via warranty twice. With the first coffeemaker the single cup maker started blowing up the k-cup. The 2nd coffeemaker stopped brewing coffee after about a year. I've had the 3rd for only a short time and have had no problems yet. On both of the first 2 after approximately 6 months the "clean" light never goes off.
I use it daily and it does make a good cup of coffee and I also use the single serve once or twice a day to make tea. When working properly it's a good coffeemaker and Cuisinart does have a good replacement practice.

The coffee tasted terrible and very weak even using the strong/bold setting. The coffee wasn't very warm. When we'd use a K-Cup the coffee would explode outside the mug and all over our counter top. We took this back and got the Ninja® CFP201 DualBrew Coffee Maker, Single-Serve, Keurig® K-Cup® Coffee Pod & 12-Cup Drip Coffee Maker instead. We love the Ninja coffee maker so much more.

I am very happy with this coffee center. I love having the option to make a cup or a pot and it takes up less space than having two different appliances. I did have a problem with leaking, but Cuisinart was more than helpful in resolving the issue. I appreciate a company that stands behind their product.

It’s all you want and need from a coffee maker. It gives you choices and weather you choose 12 cup or single serve you will never be disappointed because it brews the perfect cup-a-joe. Give it a shot!
