I love this coffeemaker, but the hot plate that the carafe sits on has already worn off quite a bit. Be sure to hold your thumb on the lid of the carafe or it will pop off and do not pour quickly as it will flow out in a rush and possibly burn you. I learned all of these things in a short time. Other than the above list it is a great machine.

The single serve is 99 percent u usable. It throws coffee grounds everywhere. Very disappointing for the price!
