It has 2 filters but room for only 1. The coffee taste very good.The single serving is just ok. Not as good as the Kuerig single server I had.

This is a somewhat qualified 5-star rating. I've always been a fan of Cuisinart coffee pots. So when the option to combine my coffee pot with my Keurig presented itself, it seemed like a no-brainer. And when this works, it's a great product. However, the first one I purchased had to be replaced when the k-pod component failed within weeks. Cuisinart replaced the full unit easily and immediately, and the current one is working great. So kudos to customer service. Hopefully, the issue has been resolved and won't be a problem in the future.

I really wanted to love this machine. I bought it to replace a Cuisinart 14 cup machine that I do love and a Verisimo single serve that I can no longer get pods for. The 12 cup side is great but the single serve frequently splits the pod foil when the top is closed resulting in a mess. Very hard to clean the pod grounds out of the machine and the coffee must be strained in a French press to be drinkable. I think it is a design flaw, the piercing needle enters the pod long side first and often splits the pod foil as it completes the entry, allowing the liquid and grounds to flood out the top and all over the inside. It seems to be getting worse over the month or so that I have been using it. The drain needle has never been clogged and I check it frequently to be sure. I have also tried a couple of different brands of pods with the same results. If there isn't a fix for this, I will reluctantly have to return it.

Poor design. The filer in water tank for the pot of coffee side causes the water to spill into the coffee area. You must remember to do water before the dry coffee. The lid on the carafe is not hinged. If you don’t get it snapped into place exactly your coff grinds will over flow. Also think the single cup should be on the left vs the right.
The coffee is delicious once you get it made.
