Pouring water into the base is awkward when making a carafe. It’s hard not to spill. The single cup brew without kcups, is disappointing. Always get grounds in the cup.

It works great except for quite frequently it plugs and makes a mess when making a single cup. It is very hard to clean up after this happens. Too many small crooks and crannies. It is fast and makes great coffee.

Great concept in a coffee pot/single brew option, but...single brew makes an entire mess every cup with coffee grounds going everywhere. The needle that punctures the pod makes a wide opening without knowing until you see coffee grounds everywhere in the cup, machine, countertop after the one cup brew - VERY FRUSTRATING!!!

You have to put pod in single serve side and press down to puncture pod. If you don’t about 70% of the time you get coffee grounds all over. Do not over fill carafe side with coffee or it to will make a mess. Measure the coffee. This coffee maker was very frustrating at first, really need some fixes on it.

Pro: easy to use, small footprint device that wonderfully combines single-serve and carafe brew in one unit. The features of the single-serve side suit my needs better than the Keurig it replaced. Con: it is awkward to add water to the carafe brew side because the fill opening is very small. Also, a significant amount of condensation will drip off the lid and down the back of the unit when you open the lid to remove the grounds after brewing is complete. For me, the pro's outweigh the con's, and I am delighted with this purchase.
