I wish auto off were easier to use and the single serve splashes a good bit on our counters with a mug below. We like the look overall but don’t like it as well as our previous Cuisinart coffee maker with insulated carafe.

Great machine, the only thing I wish was better is how you fill the brewer with water. Maybe it is just me but I don't thik there is enough room at the top of the machine to gracefully fill the brewer

The last few coffeemakers we've had did not seem to brew the coffee hot enough. So we have been looking for a coffee maker with a hot setting and found this one online. We love the option of a full pot of coffee or a single cup. We brew a pot of regular coffee every morning, and my husband enjoys a single cup of decaf at night. (All on the HOT setting!) It's easy to operate and looks good with our other kitchen appliances. Cuisinart's reputation influenced this purchase, and we have not been disappointed.

I give it three stars because it is difficult to pour water in for the coffee maker without spilling water down the back of the machine and the reservoir being at the back of the machine. This makes it not so user-friendly under a cupboard. I also don't like the way the coffee splatters while making the individual cup.

It seems that the water reservoir is small and my husband needs to use a funnel so makes it harder to use than a single pot was. We don't use the single unit often so not sure we really needed it but has been handy when wanting a decaf cup. Only other thing of having a dual unit is if something goes wrong with one your out two products?
