The hot plate, which is intended to keep the coffee hot, did not. I returned this model, and tried to get an exact replacement but funny, it’s no longer available. The next newest model has the pot and hot water locations reversed, which won’t work as well for me, but I ordered one anyway.

We have had this coffee machine for about 5 months and really like it. Once we got used to the noise that the 1 cup side makes when clearing out the nozzle at the end of a cycle nothing could have beenBetter. As with all our other cuisinarts the coffee side makes very hot delicious coffee and they brew a cup at a time side also makes the coffee hot and gives you three different sizes of hot water depending on what you're doing. I use it to make cappuccinos from pods and also hot water for tea. One of our best coffee machines and one that we really like.
