Love love love. My only con is that it is a lot of plastic & foe the price I expect a little less cheap material. It is rather hard to pour water in the back for the main pot if you are right handed. So far so good.

I purchased this coffee maker because of the large carafe. It’s unfortunate that I can not seem to make a full pot of coffee without getting grinds. I wish the coffee basket allowed for a larger amount of coffee.

When brewing a single cup, coffee splashes out of the cup all over the counter. If you use a tall travel mug, this isn’t much of an issue, but if you use a regular coffee mug, it’s pretty messy

This coffee maker has all the features I was looking for: ability to brew by single cup or pot, hot plate to keep the pot hot, timers to start brewing and hot plate turn-off to prevent pot from burning. Also, I only need half the coffee I used when brewing in a percolator. Only problem was that paint on hot plate flaked off, but Cuisinart replaced the unit without any ado.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The coffee maker functions ok but the design of the machine is not great. The biggest problem is the water container for the single serve and the area to pour in the water for the pot. Single serve container is too small. If you choose the large cup of 10 ounces after 4 cups you have to refill the container. The mouth that you fill the water for the pot is too small and hard to fill without spilling some water off to the side. I understand that if they made the water container larger and the mouth to fill the water for the pot, the footprint of the machine take up more space on your countertop. The other problem for the container for the single cup is that the container is in the back of the machine therefore you can't leave it against the wall to fill it you have to pull the coffeemaker out to pull the container out or to clear the bottom of the cabinet to pour the water in.
