We have only used the Kcup portion of the unit. That part works great. Good options for cup size brews. It is a better unit than another brand it replaced. 4* because replacement filters are not readily available.

The coffee maker worked great for about six months. Then the single use K-cup side stopped working. Looks like we'll need to make a warranty claim. And now they don't make the model we have any more, so not sure what the remedy will be.

My old Cuisinart coffeemaker started to have problems with the pump. It was my fault because I never cleaned it even the clean light came on. So I definitely was going to purchase another Cuisinart. They look good and they work well and they last. I purchased this one with the single serving maker on one side. I have not tried that yet but I am not disappointed. As always, my experience with Cuisinart is very positive. Quality and a price that’s affordable.

After 2 weeks of use the single serving side no longer punctures the pods. You must physically puncture the pod yourself and this causes a huge mess. Single serving side does not do a steady stream, which causes the coffee to splatter everywhere. For the coffee pot side, after you finish brewing and lift the lid to dispose of the coffee grounds the built-up condensation pours down the back of the unit. Overall, poor design elements and poor purchase.

Great coffee maker. I do have problems with the single-serve brewer. The single serve pods rip open and then the coffee goes all over. You get a coffee cup filled with coffee grounds.

I love the ability to make a pot or single cup (or use the single cup for hot water) BUT it broke (started leaking from the main side) after 2.5 years and the warranty process was not easy as they wanted to send me replacement parts first “to try.” After many emails back and forth they agreed to send me a new one but I had to cut the cord and email a different email to “prove” it was rendered useless. It was leaking, so I could have used towels under until the new one came but then wasn’t able since I had to cut the cord. With 4 coffee drinkers in the house I ultimately had to go buy another one to use for over a week. If they offer a warranty it shouldn’t be so much work to get a replacement AND it took a long time to receive it. I will not buy another as a result when this one breaks. Not worth the money for the quality…
