We had a Cuisinart Single Serve coffee maker for many years and loved it! So when it stopped working, we decide to get the Cuisinart Coffee Center. I'm very disappointed in the quality of this coffee maker. I wish we had read reviews before I purchase it. I finally learned you have to push the K-cup down so it is pierced on the bottom before you close the top, only after several exploded K-cups. WHAT A MESS! It is so cheap it slides backwards when you push the button to brew a K-cup, and the coffee temperature is not hot enough. I expected a better quality product from Cuisinart, especially for the price we paid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really like the intension of this coffee pot..to be able to make a pot of coffee or one cup. The looks are okay..I bought this since my entire kitchen is white and it fit the bill compared to some other whites ones. The reason for the 2 stars is the inconvenience of pouring water into the pot with the carafe that comes with the pot. Its nearly impossible, without spilling water on the counter. The place to pour the water is behind the filter compartment and it is very small. This does not allow the carafe to completely empty when filling it because the piece you lift to begin the coffee making process is in the way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far so good. We use the individual pod cups everyday and use the 12 Cup part for when we have company. The coffee pot is not bulky like others and it looks very nice on my counter.
