I thought this was going to be easy and good to use. First one I owned developed a leak somewhere and dumped a full tank of water all over my counter several times. They sent me a new tank to try and that did not cure the problem. They then sent a new unit to replace the defective one. Cured the leak issue, but periodically pukes coffee ground into the cup while brewing. No clue why this is happening. It doesn't do it all the time, only once in a while. But it happens enough that I have to take the thing all apart to flush out all the grounds that get spread all over the inside.I had a Kuerig that did the same thing, I switched to Cuisinart thinking to solve the problems. Didn't happen. Not overly happy with this machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worked ok for about a year. Then off and on would make a grinding noise and all three lights would blink and the machine wouldn't brew. I'd have to use a different brewer. I was unable to phone support.
