Really wanted to love this coffee maker, but the k-cup water reservoir tank leaks. I contacted Cuisinart and it took several (~3 to 4) days for customer service to get back to me. They issued me a new, free reservoir tank as the coffee maker was under warranty and it arrived a week or so later. Unfortunately, the replacement also leaked ALL over the counter again - water level was under “max” line and properly positioned on the machine. DO NOT BUY THIS COFFEEMAKER! Not really sure how it has 4+ stars online, but very disappointed that even the replacement was also faulty.
As for the coffee maker side with the carafe - I have had no issues with that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worked great for a couple days, leaks terribly from the bottom of the unit when using single serve side. If you do not insert and press down on the kcup BEFORE starting, the kcups explodes coffee grinds all over. The carafe side works when it wants to. Mostly just fills up the filter and grounds with water and never brews into the carafe creating a huge mess to clean. WASTE OF MONEY!! DO NOT BUY.

Outstanding coffee maker. Really like the convenience of being able to make either a cup at a time or a full pot. Only complaint is the small opening to pour water in the pot side. I would definitely recommend it to others.

The water tank for single-serve needs to new carefully set, and avoided when repositioning the machine, to avoid leaks. I bought another tank because of leaks, thinking it was the tank. But the problem continued, and the solution is to just not leave more than very small amount in the tank. Just fill it each time with the minimum amount needed.

Single serve side is awesome, 12–Cup brewer not as much. Huge issue with condensation on top, so when I open to remove grounds it leaks down the back of the unit
