Replacement for old coffee brewer with a weird

This replaced a single serve coffee maker by another company that recently quit working. I decided I wanted to also be able to brew a pot of coffee with the same appliance. I have fallen in love with this coffee maker. On the weekends I can make a full pot. I love the reusable filter. On weekdays my husband and can each brew a single cup before work. This also fits on the drawer that holds kcups that my old brewer sat on. I am glad I made the switch to Cuisinart!

The positive aspect is it works fast. I wish the ounce quantity was higher. Sometimes I get a lot of grounds in my coffee due to the part that holds the pod. It has to be securely in place!

I was really excited to receive this coffee maker I have been looking for something like this for a long time. I love that I can make a carafe or a single cup. Unfortunately, when I make a single k-cup, coffee pops out of the cup and leaves drops all over my counter. It makes coffee just fine, but I have to clean my counter off after every serving or I have to put a very tall cup under it so I don’t experience that mess. It doesn’t seem that Cuisinart did any beta testing of this product.

This is very nice looking in my kitchen. Very unhappy with single cup brew. It splashes all over the counter even when using a tall mug. Coffee splashes on wall on counter and on the coffee pot right next to it. Always wiping up a mess.

We love this dual coffee maker. My wife and I have also a Cuisinart whole bean grinder, so we brew coffee on the weekends and use the K-cup functionality during the work week. Excellent product and we high recommend it.
