Best ever! I've had several of the "K" brand and usually am diapointed. This Cuisinart Coffee Center makes delicious coffee by the cup or by the pot.

The only complaint I have is the single serve splashes when it empties into the cup. A taller cup cures the problem. But then you use 2 cups.

It's a great coffee maker and the dual functionality is a real bonus when you just want a quick single K-cup. The 12-cup functions well and keeps the coffee hot if you like to enjoy a few cups over a short period of time, like in the morning when you need one to start, one with breakfast and perhaps a splash more before washing the pot. There are two minor disappointments, but not that serious and I have a quick fix for one of them. First, the 12-cup side is a little awkward to fill when pouring the water from the carafe into the unit. The lid covering the fill area doesn't swing back far enough to allow easy access, so you either spill a little into the basket area, or leave some water in the carafe. No big deal. The second issue is on the Single cup side. Like ALL K-cup brewers, the distance between an 8 oz. coffee cup and the drip area results in some splashing while brewing. Easy FIX is to use an upside down ceramic custard cup to place under the coffee cup, thus raising the cup closer to the drip area. Be careful to ensure the inverted ceramic custard cup and the coffee cup atop it are stable and won't easily spill. Make sure you test the stability before brewing. I've included a picture of the 7 oz. custard cup that works for me. Coffee cup you see was brewed atop the custard cup with NO splashing.

I purchased the product for the dual purpose feature and tend to use the puck side mostly, but is nice to have the cafe side when family is visiting. The one con is the the water reservoir is on the rear and non easy to remove to refill.

We've used Keurig for several years but got this coffee maker as a gift for our new house. We absolutely love it! It looks great sitting on the counter and the stainless outside matches our appliances. We've never been able to program our Keurig to make coffee so having this option now is awesome. I love the smell of fresh coffee brewing when I wake up in the morning. And it really does make a great pot of coffee.
