I have used a keurig for years, my husband used a Mr. coffee. I decided to upgrade this year to a coffee pot plus single serve pot...I chose cuisinart, because I liked the look of it better than the plain Jane Keurig. It is beautiful, I have the copper one, but my pods “blow up” on a pretty regular basis. It happened once in awhile with Keurig, but the design of my last one made it easy to clean up. The new Cuisinart is a pain to clean up. If it would work all the time without the pods blowing up, I would give it five stars across the board for looks, ease of using, good cup of coffee. The pot side is great. I have not had any problems with leaking out the bottom, which is, one thing that other reviewers had to say about it. I was a little nervous about that, since we, at one time, had a cusinart coffee pot do that, leak out the bottom...that’s why we had a Mr. Coffee. Anyway, I am happy enough with it, but not thrilled, so it gets four stars.

My wife and I enjoy a good hot cup of coffee in the morning, this coffee center dose just what we're looking for. The only thing that bothers me about the center is that when making single cup the splatter of beverage ends up on the carafe (slightly poor design) and I think that there should only be one reservoir for water which would enable the single server to be displaced to levitate the splatter problem.

I've had a Cuisinart coffee maker for years and loved it but you have to find a way to eliminate the excessive splashing of the single serve side. For the price I paid I should not have to wipe down everything within 8 inches after each cup of coffee is made.

Excellent coffeemaker. Replaced an aging Moccamaster; similar brewing techniques for the large pot. Nice to make just one pot per day for the coffee drinkers in the house. The warming plate temperature is adjustable; a key feature for us. The integrated k-cup maker is a great convenience.

This is a wonderful coffee maker! Love having the option to make a full pot or a single serve. I just wish that when I open the back reservoir lid to remove the grinds that water from condensation didn’t run off and on to my counter.
