I read many reviews first then decided to buy it. I really like it. Yes, when you use the k cup for one cup it does splatter a little, but not too bad. I’m glad I purchased it.

Great coffeemaker. Coffee is consistently good both in the brewing pot and the K-cup side. The only drawback is when pouring water into the pot, that is a little awkward, but aside from that I am extremely happy with my purchase of the Cuisinart.

I haven't used the K cup part of this brewer yet, but the regular drip coffee was great. The coffee was super hot even after I added a ton of creamer and sugar. Creamer had just come from the fridge. I probably added about 1/4 cup to a 1/3 cup of creamer to 6oz of coffee. So yeah, the coffee was really hot and I was happy. Usually because of the amount of creamer I put in I have to nuke the coffee to reheat it. Not this time. The coffee was full flavor and I didn't even use the strong brew setting. Set up was pretty self explanatory. The brewer is quite tall. I bought a rolling tray that also holds K cups. It just fits under the counter except where I have a light fixture. I had to buy the rolling tray or I'd never get the coffee maker out from under the cabinets to fill it water. I think there's 18"-20" between the counter and the cabinets. So the rolling tray fixed a few problems with storage and access. Make sure to check the measurements of the rollin tray before you buy. You need the largest one. Not only is this machine tall, it's also wide and deep. I don't know the measurements off hand, but you can get the machine measurement as well as the rolling tray from the specs when you buy them. Unit is a good looking appliance that's easy to take care of and so far delivers really hot brewed coffee.
