Unable to Use Carafe & K cup simultaneously

I am loyal to the cuisinart brand and have had ace still have multiple kitchen items . I’ve had 5 coffee makers from Cuisinart. This one is a little disappointing. You can use carafe & K Cup at the same time. It’s on & off switch on the side is confusing since there’s a front auto on & off dial. We wanted it to be able to do both simultaneously but it won’t. Definitely not recommend if you want my opinion.

Decided after purchasing five Keurigs in the last four years, to purchase your product,we are disappointed with the single cup feature. It spits water everywhere when brewing. Very messy.

I’ve really loved this coffee maker. Only complaint I have is that the single serve does splatter a bit, if you have a tall cup it will catch it but a smaller cup it can be kinda messy.

All in all nice combination of coffee and k-cap, however the ability to adjust height of the K-Cup will limit my ability to rate this higher, the current distance leads to extreme splash. It needs a removal stand to allow adjusting for cup size. Also the first unit had to be replaced due to the filter basket not working properly. The auto stop flow feature appears to be a bit sensitive to position of the pot or you will see a slow drip resulting in overflow of the grounds into your coffee. Now that I am aware I make the the water flow is consistent before I walk away. This virtually eliminates auto coffee making though. On the positive sides: Having temperature and brew times adjustments is a real plus. Most others have a limit of 2 hours.
