Sometimes the way the pod door closes it explodes the pods and a lot of the grounds go into the cup. Not sure about you but I do not like chewy coffee. Another thing is the place where you put the water to make a pot of coffee is really hard to fill with the pot. It’s like the hinges lid is in the way.

I tried two other single-cup/full pot combination coffeemakers before purchasing this Cuisinart. The others failed me for different reasons (one was awkward to use, the other "spit" coffee on the counter when using the single-cup side). After more than a month of use, this brewer seems just about perfect. It is easy to use, and the coffee tastes great.

I loved the idea of this dual machine. However, the area to pour water into the reservoir is narrow, so it's easy to spill water everywhere. As for the single cup portion, the coffee spews a bit, making it a bit messy.

Nice design and easy to use. Love everything about it but while making the single cups, it splatters little drops of coffee on the cup, counter and on the carafe next to it. Not sure why but it does. Other than that, it would definitely be a 5 Star

I love this dual coffee maker. The pot brews quickly and so does the single cup brew. The single cup comes out steamy hot. It’s easy to set up. There is a reservoir for the single cup brew and three different cup sizes.
After I had this product for almost a year there was a malfunction in the brew button. Sometimes it would brew but often would start and then stop several times. I contacted the Support Department and told them of my problem. They were very accommodating and sent me a new system. I am happy to say everything is working perfectly. This is the fourth Cuisinart coffee maker I have purchased. This brand is my favorite.
