This is a great coffee maker, the only draw back is that you have to push down the kcup so that you will not have an issue with the cup top breaking and coffee Grounds in your coffee.

The single serve side somehow breaks the seal of the kcup and an explosion of coffee grounds gets all over the equipment, cup and counter. The brew side is almost perfect. Upon occasion the pot leaks when pouring the coffee.

I love my new Cuisinart! I've owned two others over the years, and when my last finally died on me I was excited to see this upgraded version. I am recently widowed, and this one allows me the flexibility for the one-cup mode in a sleek all-in-one-machine. It looks good on the counter, takes up less space that two separate machines, and still makes excellent coffee. If you use k-cups more often, however, be aware that the reservoir is smaller than with a single Keurig-type coffee maker. Easy to fill, though.

Overall, very pleased. It’s essentially a Keurig and a high-end coffee pot combined. I like that you can use K-cups or you own coffee to make a single cup. BUT, some things to be aware of. Make sure both the regular coffee basket and the k-cup adapter are firmly snapped into place, or you’ll have a mess to clean up. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5, is a poor design in pouring water from the carafe into to the maker. The lid is in the way no matter how you twist and turn trying to pour.

I like the set up for the most part. One improvement that could be made is how water goes into the 12 cup reservoir. Needs more space. It’s easy to pour some of the water into the filter holder while trying to fill the reservoir.

I had no issues with my coffee station in the beginning but after a few weeks the needle that pierces the coffee pods is not working properly. I have to pierce the coffee pod before I put it in to the holder. I’m not happy with this outcome.

We’ve always had a Cuisinart coffeemaker, and we love them. But this unusual made one was disappointing. The Kcup design needs redesigned. It takes a Kcup for regular coffee just fine but at times continues to drip even though the machine has turned off; however, the speciality coffee like cappuccino or latte overflows inside the brewing capsule/mechanic. Would not recommend.
