I truly enjoy the fact I have the option to make a pot of coffee or use my single capsules in different flavors all in one machine! I also have appreciated using the mesh filter that came with the machine. I have yet to have to use paper filters.

It took a while to get the perfect cup. The grounds were getting into the coffee and all over the coffee maker. Finally figured out that it was the gold filter causing all the problems. Was going to return the coffee maker, but tried paper filters and now it is fine. No leaks- no grounds.

Great brewer combination of K-cup and pot. Only draw back coffee cup is located too far from K-cup causing it to splash on counter. Make the removable drip cup taller.

This is such a good concept for a coffee Brewer a full pot of drip coffee on one side and a cake up for single serving on the other 1A great idea! Cuisinart has always stood behind this product and I am proud to own it. Very convenient and suits every coffee drinkers needs and are home. Thanks.

Overall the unit operates well with good features and I am pleased with my purchase. Also really like the black stainless color. Replacing my 20+ year Krups coffee/espresso combo machine and so far satisfied, although this unit has a little more complexity to it than the Krups. I think the 2 water filters may be a little overkill. I would have repurchased a Krups had it not been discontinued, so this is my first attempt at the Cuisinart brand. I do find that placing the coffee pot in/out of the burner is quite a tight fit. Maybe this will loosen over time, but sometimes it can be a struggle to get the pot back into position. Also when using the single cup feature, it tends to splash on the counter if using a regular sized coffee cup. The taller type coffee mugs are less of an issue. It also tends to make a loud clicking sound at the end of every pot brew. Not sure if that is normal or not. In closing, so far so good. No real issues other than the quirks listed above. I am hoping I can get another 20 years out of this unit like I did my Krups. Only time will tell.

The single serve system doesn’t work very well. Frequently get grounds in the cup necessitating cleaning the maker completely (after just three cups). It also is not consistent in the quantity it makes. We have selected 10oz and gotten 8, 10 and even 12 oz where it has overflowed the mug being used. The carafe side works well but the single serve side is very disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
