I'm thrilled to have this coffee center. Cuisinart has been my favorite small appliance purchases since they first came out with the butter yellow color. What a great surprise to find they all were also a great quality! The coffee center works so well, coffee stays nice and hot and brews without bitterness. The umber color matches one of the colors in my new quartz countertop. It is the only thing I am allowing to remain on top of it other than a couple of decorative items. The only flaws for me personally are the loud buzzer that alerts you when the coffee is done or the machine is shutting down (hard to get up before everyone else and quietly brew coffee) and the super, super bright clock light was overtaking my new kitchen renovation with the extreme blue shine when the lights in it were dimmed. I actually found the same coloring in paper that matched the face of the coffeemaker and cut out a piece to fit over the clock to hide the light. Works well and you have to look really close to see my patch job. Please build dimmers and adjustable noise levels in future products. Thank you.

I replaced a 7 year old model for this. Vast improvement for the hot water on demand, now a separate sub tank that can be removed and filled. Also liked the improved width of the main tank, very easy to now fit a sink hose to fill it. Have not experienced any of the leaking with the single serve I have read about in other reviews
Only downside is the addition of a power switch. Oddly enough when powered off it will continue to leave the clock on but deactivate the brew buttons. The first time this happened (I inadvertently clicked it off while cleaning around the side) it wasn’t really clear why the coffee maker was deactivated. Strange design...,

Love the single cup or carafe options. However I am on my third coffeemaker. Cuisinart did replace the second one for free. But for the price the unit should not leak after owning it for less than a year The first one also did but I didn’t think to ask Cuisinart to replace it
