o Whom It May Concern: I am so disappointed with my recent purchase of a carafe/pod combo coffee maker from your company. I purchased the Cuisinart brand coffee maker for the first time after having other similar models after seeing it advertised on TV. I have multiple other Cuisinart products such as appliances and a cookware set and have been extremely happy with all of my other products. I am just very disappointed with the coffee maker unfortunately. To me it is not very sturdy in construction. I have a very hard time trying to put water in the reservoir as the lid can not be manipulated out of the way to perform this task, as It only goes so far back when open and I fear that I will break it if I try and push it further out of the way. The lid to the carafe must be totally removed to add water as it does not have a hinge type mechanism to allow ease in pouring and less spillage. The smallest amount of water that is spilled when filling the reservoir will pool up on the heating pad and must be cleaned up before brewing the coffee. I have used the pod section only about 5 times since I purchased the coffeemaker and every time it spits and sputters and makes a mess all around the outside of the cup and on the surface surrounding the coffeemaker. The last time I used it for some unknown reason hot water even sprayed out the side of the pod insertion area and hit the wall where my coffeemaker sits. In summary I am just very disappointed with this purchase and have debated taking it back to Belk where I purchased it due to these reasons. I have had such a great experience with all of my past Cuisinart purchases that I forgot to even register this product until today as I really had no expectations as to having any problems with the product but I see that with all the continued issues that I have been having with this product that I needed to indeed register it for sure for future reference. I hate to be a complainer but I feel that Cuisinart needs to know the problems that I am having with the product as you may see a pattern if others experience the same issues. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Purchased this a couple weeks ago and am soooooo happy with it. Love the fact that I can single-brew a cup without having to make a half pot or so to satisfy a late day coffee need. Cusinart makes a great coffee maker. Have owned many over my years, but none this fantastic.

Our first Cuisinart coffee station failed after the 6 months. It was replaced under warranty and our second failed after 1 month. Also being replaced. Hopefully the third will be the charm. Great idea, poor quality.

We bought this to uncluttered our countertop. Prior to this we had a Cuisinart 14 cup coffeemaker and a large Kuerig coffee maker side by side which took up a lot of counter space. Now, everything is packaged into this compacted space. We absolutely love the way this looks and performs. The 12 cup side works identical to our previous Cuisinart. We like the single cup design and performance better than the Kuerig we had. The cup comes out to a more consistent level and the coffee is hotter.

The issues I have with this coffee maker is it doesn’t keep my coffee hot and I don’t like where the water reservoir is for the coffee pot side. I do think cuisinart products are better made than most I just have some design issues with this one.
