Advantage - the obvious - choice of single cup or pot of coffee. Disadvantage- price. Now, if it last ten years, like previous Cuisinart coffee maker (still works), it will be well worth the price.

We have had several Cuisinart products and have never been disappointed, 4 coffee makers out of those over a lot of years but this coffee center is great and we love the single serve part which has worked good over the last 5 months. We brew at least 10 carafes a week and would be hard to count the K-Cups we use in the single serve side...weve cleaned it twice and have never had any issues.It is nice to have a coffee machine you can rely on...We highly recommend.

I do love this gift! We got it for Christmas. Love that I can make a large pot of coffee or a single serve. However the single serve literally shoots coffee all over my coffee station. It’s done it since day one. I never returned it because I didn’t want my parents to feel bad. But I would t purchase this again. I mean you literally lose probably 1/4 of coffee when you brew!

I have had Cuisinart coffee makers for years. Decided that in addition to my daily pot of coffee that I would also enjoy the option to offer my quests or myself a single cup of coffee whenever we might feel like one. So far I am enjoying it very much.

My husband bought the Cuisinart ss15 about a month ago and I love it. I especially love the fact that I have the two options, k-cups or carafe. It keeps the carafe hot as long as it is on. Easy clean up every time. Still need to figure out the programming part. I followed the directions in the book but it doesn't program. Nonetheless, it is by far the best Coffee Maker I have owned thus far. Yes it is better than the Kuerig.
