When using single cup coffee maker coffee spits all over machine and counter. Also onto drip coffee pot staining it.

Bought this to replace a different brand that we did not like. Only issue is that filling the water reservoir can be difficult depending on the placement of your coffee maker.

The single cup brewing feature is very useful for couples and families who enjoy different coffees. I bought this machine and retired the single function version so that I could brew coffee that both my wife and I enjoy. My only negative experience occurred when the single cup brewer became clogged with grounds. The brewer sputtered and wouldn’t inject water into the cup of grounds. The directions were vague about this problem, but I cleared the clog easily with a twist tie inserted into the injecting needle. That solved the problem and all is well.

Great coffee machine, love the flexibility for a pot or single cup. Very attractive compliment to the counter in our kitchen, we like the appearance. Good options to select when brewing. Love the temp setting on the carafe. Only improvement would be a taller base under the cup for the single serve, the dispensing splatters on the counter every time.

We had a Cuisanart 12 cup coffee maker for years, and were very satisfied. We also had purchased a Kurig single cup maker. Our Cuisanart finally stopped working, so we looked at the "combo" Coffee Center unit.
It's a smart looking piece, with some nice touches (e.g., a matching aluminum strip on the coffee pot handle). We have limited counter space, so size was important.This unit takes up much less space then did the two old Cusianart and Kurig.
Best of all... and I don't know how Cuisanart did it, but the coffee taste, from both the coffee pot and single cup sections, seems much more full bodied. Also, the coffee pot side has "bold" setting, and the single cup side let's you choose 6, 8, and 10 oz. serving sizes. These options were not available on the older unit.
