I bought this because I’ve always had good luck with my Cuisanart coffee makers. Having the single maker attached takes up less room on my counter. I had a coffeemaker and a mini Kuerig but now I don’t need two items. The coffee is nice and hot and I like where you can choose the cup size on the single serve side.

1. The opening for the water is too small and I end up pouring cold water in the filter basket. There isn't sufficient room to pour and empty the carafe into the reservoir.
2. The single cup brewer trickles out rather than coming out in a good stream. It doesn't all go in the cup.

The way the lid is structured, it is VERY difficult to poor water into the reservoir.
You can't tip the pot to fully empty the water when filling the reservoir because the lid is in the way. Also, there is no way to silence or turn the volume down on the very loud 5 beeps the machine makes when the coffee is ready. I swear it wakes up the whole block.

I am so happy with this coffee maker. I have owned only Cuisinart Coffee makers for years and love it. The only thing that I would like to see, is making it easier to pour the water into the 12 cup side. It is very difficult to get the water in. If the cover went back more it would help.
