I definitely like the option of either a full pot of coffee or a single serve. However, unless you are using a tall mug on the single serve option, when using a normal cup height the liquid splashes all over. The spout is too high/far away from the cup. So I usually put a paper towel in front of the brewer to catch the splashes.

Got it as a Xmas gift...a friend had one and really liked the idea of a choice of a carafe of coffee or 1 cup...the only thing I found to be a little awkward is the placement of the water reservoir for the carafe..little difficult to fill it up... it all in all very pleased with the product

Only had it a month or two but so far it’s been perfect for us would have gave it a five star rating but have not had it long enough to see how it holds up makes a nice quick single cup when you only need one or easy fill and setup when you want a full pot

I've gone through a lot of coffee machines and basically my mindset is they last a couple of months and then, when they break, or clog up, get another one. That has changed. This Cuisinart machine, which I received as a gift, has exceeded beyond expectations. Easy to use and clean, it allows the freedom to brew a single cup or a 12 cup decanter that lasts through the entire Sunday paper.

I received this coffee maker as a Christmas present & it is so easy to use! It allowed me to get rid of 2 separate coffee makers (K-cup/brewer) as it does both so I was able to get some counter space back. I like the cone shaped coffee receptacle as those are my favorite filters to use & I also love the quick heat up time & simplicity of the operating panel. Nothing too complex about it! My only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the messiness of the single cup side. It splashes a good bit more than my other K cup brewer & it is VERY messy when I'm only using it for hot water to make tea. The way the water comes out when no K cup is in the chamber needs to be revisited...

I've used this product for 6 weeks now and although it's functional, I wish it were less cumbersome. Water tank filling is challenging and something as simple as a flip cover for the carafe is non existent (seems to be unique to Cuisinart- who knew one would miss something so simple).
I've read reviews where people complain of leakage. I experienced this once as well however, I found that it was simply having incorrectly inserted the inner "cone" where the filter sits on. Must be in perfectly.
Overall, great idea having this "2 in 1" system however, execution could've been better...

I like that my coffee pot is a dual one. The only thing I dont like is the light is really bright! I have to cover it at night. I also dont like hot the pot lid has to pop off to fill. I like when the lid is attached.
