This was a gift for Christmas...and we absolutely love it. It works perfectly! My husband brews a pot for himself every morning, and because I have to have decaf, I use the pods for my morning coffee. Works like a charm! Love it!.

This was to replace a espresso maker that had stopped working after a couple weeks of ownership, that was obviously too technical for our kitchen. This gives us the right amount of versatility. Not too snooty for our kitchen. Would highly recommend to people who want to be able to just make a cup rather than a whole pot of coffee.

I like Cuisinart products and own many. While I like the added single serve, there are two issues I have.
1. The single serve isn't really hot enough and it cools faster then the brewer.
2. Filling of the brewer side is difficult with the carafe and normally spills into the grind area and on to warming plate.

I gave my Keurig away because single serve is great for just me but it just didn’t cut it when we entertained. It’s horrible to have people standing in line to get coffee. so I bought the Hamilton Beach version that had the option to make a pot of coffee or single serve. The problem was I had to add water every time I wanted to use the single serve. There’s no water reservoir. So I finally bought the coffee machine that I wanted. It has a water reservoir so I don’t have to add water on those sleepy mornings when I can’t get my eyes open, and it has the coffee pot so I can make my guests happy by having freshly brewed coffe ready at their convenience. It’s a win win. My only complaint would be if you use a short cup, the coffee will splatter. I fixed this by using bigger coffee cups. Lol I have no problems with drinking a bigger cup of coffee.
