I purchase this dual coffee maker for the versatility and the Cuisinart brand reputation, but unfortunately it let me down badly.
The Single Side won’t work properly. When using the HomeBarista Reusable Filter Cup the coffee maker will work as it should, but every time I used a K-Cup on the K-pod the machine acted up spewing hot water and grounds from the top of the K-Cup making a complete mess.
Pros
o Looks nice.
o Regular coffee works great.
o Wonderful rich coffee flavor, no bitterness
o Easy sizing, carafe side works very well
o Good looks with medium footprint
Cons
o K Cup maker is near trash.
o No platform to elevate cup on single serve side
o Not worth the money or aggravation.
o Water leak
o Controls not as intuitive as others

Great Combination of Drip and K-Cup Coffee Maker

I received this as a Christmas present and really like the features. Being able to brew 12 cups by drip, or single cups with the K-Cup side is definitely a large plus.
My only complaint with this is the poorly designed water reservoir access for the drip side. It is virtually impossible to fill the water reservoir on the drip side using the carafe without spilling water into the coffee basket or on the countertop. This is really a poor design for accessibility. While not a show stopper, it certainly is a daily inconvenience.

Received as a Christmas gift. I have had the 14 cup coffee maker for years and loved it. However, 2 problems with this one. Difficult to pour water into the resevior because the opening is too small. Also, on the single serve, it splashes a lot.

Can not leave the water reservoir fill. If u only want to make 3 cups u have to put 3 cups of water in every time. U can not fill because it will distribute all the water when u hut brew. I understand that there the other side for single but that’s not good what about if u only want to make a half of pot

Had this about a month, makes a good cup of coffee on both sides The only drawback is the fill for the carafe side is a pain to get to especially if you have it under a cupboard.
