I am 67 years old and don't like purchasing new things for fear of confusing instructions on operating a new small appliance. And I do not want to involve my phone with any apps. My phone is for calls and texting only. But the set up was incredibly easy. It is a real treat to have the 12 cup available for my husband and I in the morning hours. And how wonderful throughout the day to make individual cups of hot chocolate, tea, etc. Thank you so much for combining these two products to cut down on counter space also. IT'S A WINNER!

I like this coffee center. Makes great coffee and has many options. There is one flaw, the single cup side needs something to lift the coffee cup closer to the spigot. When you brew a single cup it spews all over unless you use a very tall cup.

This has been a perfectly good appliance but with a few tweaks, it would be perfect! The water does tend to splatter everywhere when using the single serve brewer and the water is always lukewarm so I need to microwave my tea for a minute afterwards to get it nice and hot. Other than those two issue, it has been fine!

My husband likes flavored coffee and was using a pot with pods. I like "regular" straight-up black coffee and can drink several cups a day. New Cuisinart. Got rid of two coffeepots. Replaced with one. Great quality. More counterspace. Win-win.

GREAT IDEA...SINGLE SERVE BREWER MISSED THE MARK

We were excited when we saw this brewer by Cuisinart because we could eliminate our Keurig single serve (great machine) and our 10 year old 12 cup Cuisinart (also great machine) and have one machine on our counter to save space. We bought 2 units, one for us and one for a family member. Within the first few days the frustration began with the single serve side. When brewing with single side it splashes and sputters and at the end of the cycle there is a burst of water and pressure that will blow water and coffee grounds in the cup and on the counter. We will continue to use this machine but we have to prop the cup up on a container to help prevent the splashing. The Keurig unit may make a return if things get worse.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was given this item as a Xmas gift. I was able to use it for our holiday guest prior to New Year’s Eve. Previously had a single serve Keurig. When I had many guest I had to switch to a regular 12 cup coffee maker. Now with our new combo Cuisinart there is no need to have 2 coffeemakers. I love the single serve feature of 6,8,10 ounces. If it’s only 1 cup I choose 6 ounces. If it’s for my husband & I, I choose the 10 ounces. I love love my new Cuisinart.
