Before I had 2 systems taking up valuable space on my counter. Now just 1 with both KCup and drop brewing. My husband especially likes the BOLD button! Pricey but worth it. Hope it lasts for a long time.

When we saw that Cuisinart had produced a combination pot and single brew coffee pot we purchased it right away. It was the solution to a long standing problem. In the morning we don't like to make a large pot of coffee and have it sit their all day. That works better for the evening, especially if we have company. But in the morning, we can pop in a capsule for a quick coffee and run for work. It is the best of both worlds.

I asked for and received this for Christmas, and I am very pleased with the coffeemaker. It is compact and saves space, as I previously had a coffee maker and a pod single-cup brewer both sitting on my countertop. The functions are similar to my previous Cuisenart, and the single-serve water reservoir makes it much more handy to grab a quick cup. I would recommend this highly. The only slight drawback is pouring water into the coffeemaker with the attached pod brewer, but I use a plastic measuring cup to do that, as it is easy to see the water level on the coffeemaker.

I bought this to replace my old coffee maker that would let me use only special marked “K” pods. This new one lets me use any pod which gives more options of beverages. My son uses that feature for his coffee or tea. I use the coffee pot feature to brew my tea before I make up my gallon. I have the black stainless which looks perfect with my black appliances. I also love the two water reservoirs that have their own water filter. One for the pods and one for the coffee/tea side. The other brand coffee make I was considering did not have that. I am so happy i choose this machine. It may have cost a little more than the other one I was considering but I feel with the extra options it is worth it.
