The single serve side is very slow to brew a cup of coffee and it "spits" and "sprays" the coffee out -- half of which misses the cup and lands all over the kitchen counter top. Both the single serve and carafe brew are mildly warm. Would like to NOT have to heat my fresh-brewed coffee in the microwave to get it to a hotter temperature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I find ythe coffee is only Luke warm, not hot. It was a gift and I’m very disappointed. I think this cost my son too much.

I’m the only one in my immediate household that drinks coffee but often have friends and extended family members over that do enjoy coffee. This was the perfect solution! My previous single cup maker was a Tassimo with different cartridges. The Cuisinart single serve filter allowed me to open those cartridges and use the remaining coffee. Have owned many Cuisinart appliances over the years and all have performed as promised.

I bought this about six weeks ago. Some cool features that you won’t find in comparable items. One smal problem that is easily corrected: the Kerrigan style side tends to splash liquid on the surrounding counter top. I remedied it by raising the cup platform about two inches. Otherwise, well worth purchasing.
