I love the fact that you can make a pot of coffee or single cups. My previous coffee maker was a Cuisinart 12 cup with a thermal carafe. The only feature that would make my new unit better would be if it also had a thermal carafe.

My roommate and I bought this for ourselves for a Christmas present. We love the look and the space it saves us as I was a coffee brewing lover and she was a K-cup lover. The only thing that happens sometimes is the K-cup pods sometimes explodes and there are grinds in the cup. We've made sure we have the insert in correctly but it still does it randomly. Besides that small issue we really love this machine!

A bit pricey, but seems to be of high quality and I like the features and flexibility. The only issue I have is that the water reservoir on the pot side is difficult to fill and the plastic rim on top of the pot extends beyond the inside glass so it cannot be completely emptied. Otherwise, great product.

Overall, I’m happy with it. The one design flaw I can see, is the water chamber for the coffee pot side is so small, and the lid makes it hard to empty the water into it. I will have to buy some sort of pitcher, like you used to get with Bunn, that may help. If the lid tipped back even another 1/2 in it would probably help. Love the pot design which keeps water from dripping backwards. Instant side works great. I got the copper finish, it’s understated, not bright, and looks great.

I bought this to replace a Keurig B63 as my primary coffeemaker, and overall I’m very happy with it as a single-serve brewer (the only mode I’ve used so far). There is a weak point, though: The “needles” that pierce the pods (k-cups), especially the bottom one, are too short to do a reliable job on all pods. They could also benefit from being a slightly-larger bore-size...
