Bought for Christmas and it was working fine until the last 2 weeks. The clean light came on last week and I followed the instructions to clean. Clean cycle went well and clean light went off. The next morning after brewing a fresh pot the clean light came on again. Followed the cleaning directions again and after the clean cycle the light went off. The next morning after a freshly brewed pit the light came on again. Very annoying. Obviously the product is defective. I will be contacting Cuisinart customer service today. On the plus side it makes a great pot of coffee and the single cup side works great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The single cup side caused several of the cups to rupture spilling coffee grounds all over the machine and into the coffee. Had to quit using the machine.

I have been using a Cuisinart coffee maker for years and decided to purchase this 12 Cup Coffee Center for the best of both worlds....I was, unfortunately, disappointed since the Single-Serve Brewer does not work with K-cups. Imagine how disappointed I was, after spending a good deal of money, having to clean coffee grounds out of all kinds of places!!! The concept is great but improvement needs to be made before it can be a good product like your regular coffee makers. Truly disappointed.

Nice features with the different size cup 6,8,10 oz to select from for single serve.
A nice improvement for the coffee maker spoils be to supply an adaptor to fit the different size cups for the single brew. The coffee splatters as it drips into the cup, a device to raise cup to drop area would eliminate the spraying of coffee droplets.

This is a very nice coffee pot! Perfect for us because I like flavored coffee and husband doesn’t. So I Use the single serve and he makes a pot. Only “con” is it’s kind of awkward filling the water for the full pot.
