First- I love the concept behind this dual unit, and love the appearance, I have the copper unit. But the single serve device is not as good as the competitor (which I've had for many years). It clogs and blows up under pressure about every 10th cup. The top puncture piece rips a big hole in the k-cup and coffee goes everywhere. I have not yet contacted the company to see if this is isolated to my unit, so that said- I have not tried to remedy the issue yet, however, I do have a friend with the same unit having similar difficulties so I fear it may be a basic design flaw. You need to push the cup down in the device, you cannot rely on the lid closure to do so. I think the problem is truly in the lower puncture piece- it is inadequate for both puncturing the plastic well and managing flow and pressure. Regarding the coffee pot- the lid does not open adequately to allow ease in filling the water reservoir with the coffee pot. It causes frequent spillage into the coffee, so I try to fill before putting coffee in the filter. Otherwise its your basic pot. The controls are very ANTI-intuitive, trying to figure out basic on/off requires moving the dial. Its just not super user friendly. Its ok once you read through it but if you ask someone else to make the coffee- its not super easy for them to just do it.

I recently replaced a Hamilton Beach coffeemaker with similar features with this Cuisinart. It is certainly a much superior product. The coffee is better, it’s much faster and the temperature can be controlled. The individual server is also much better than the old coffeemaker. Overall I am extremely satisfied. However I do have one suggestion for future models. The main sections and individual coffeemaker should be on opposite sides. It is very difficult to pour the water into the left side because the individual side is in the way.

I bought this new Cusinart, combined coffee maker with Single cup Kruerig last month. It works great. It keeps the coffee at the temperature I want it and I can make a single cup or a pot when serving the family. I also like the fact that it's one unit...taking up less space on my counter. I do wish it had an automatic "off" button after 2 hours. It's a manual turn on/off button.

We love coffee in our household. We have used Cuisinart for the past 12 years. Our new coffee maker offers lots of flexibility with the k-cup dispenser. BUT Cuisinart needs to make products that are easier to fill

Got this product for Christmas. Every pot of coffee that I have made ends up with coffee grinds in it. That’s the reason I got rid of the old one. It costs too much money to end up with those results.

I bought this a month ago because I was using two separate coffee makers, it was a great idea. Overall, I like the machine. I’m having two issues. Like cuisinart coffee makers I’ve had before the heating plate is already starting to show signs of wearing off. This has happened to my 3 previous coffee makers. If the plastic cone isn’t pushed way down into place the water does not drain and the coffee is full of grounds.

I purchased this coffeemaker because I had heard this is an excellent brand. So far, I have been really pleased with the ease of use. Have to admit that, at first, I was not aware that there was a separate area for the water for the carafe as opposed to the very visible area for the water for single serving cups. Now that I have figured it out, works just fine.
