Glad I bought this device. Great to have the flexibility of a pot or a cup.
A couple of suggestions for the manufacturer, redesign the pour spout lid so it doesn’t dump all of a sudden when you tilt the pot past a certain point. Try to redesign the cup feature so it doesn’t splatter during the dripping process. Too much space between the machine and the cup so you get splatter on the counter during the drip process.

You have to push the pod down until it punctures the bottom before you close the lid. If you don’t you will likely punch a large hole in the top of the pod getting grounds in the cup. Explaining that in direction would have saved me several cups

I haf the standard 12 cup Cuisinet coffee maker for 5 years and loved it. Saw the tv ad for the combo and had to have it! Used it for almost a month now and i'm delighted! I saw some reviews stating they had a leaking problem. IT'S NOT LEAKING! You're filling it too full... then when you move the pot it is SPILLING between the lid and the pot. Use about 1/2 cup less water to fill. Problem solved. Need a slide out tray for this new wider combo. For people like me who need to place the pot under an overhead counter, the slide out tray is needed. However, I can only find the 9" slide. This unit is 10.5".

I bought this recently! Love the look of it! Easy to use. The only downside is when you brew a single cup it splashes. The spout and coffee cup plate are to far apart and the spout where the coffee comes out is not centered with the cup. It’s to close to the edge of the cup!

This Cuisinart coffee maker is as good as previous models. The addition of the single serve brewer is a great addition. One drawback - as the k-cup is brewing and flowing into the cup it splashes all over the counter and coffee maker itself. It is most annoying. Correct this problem and the coffee maker gets five stars.
