We had a name brand K cup brewer... it broke, I drink a lot of coffee, my wife drinks just a cup here and there. This definately exceeded our expectations as far as style goes, we are very satisfied. Function, impressive. And maintenance, very little. This brewer is all around an amazing addition to our kitchen family.

Did the designer of this coffee pot ever try it out? They would have noticed water (moisture) drips out the back because there are no vents in the lid (like the other models have) and the single side cups splatters all over when its nearly done.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We replaced our Keurig with the Cuisinart. Love having the ability to have the ability to both use pods as well as brew a pot in the same machine. Machine is easy to use and has many great features including setting the brew strength and the cup size. Only wish that the pod water reservoir was bigger. It drains down rather quickly. Perhaps using a shared reservoir for both sides of the machine would be better.

Very happy with this machine! Brews great coffee and super convenient. Only complaint is that the design makes it difficult to pour all of the water from the carafe into the machine. Otherwise would be 5 stars.

We purchase this Cuisinart about a month a go trying from another big name brand we used to have. We absolutely love the Single-Serve brewer which is what we use the most, and the reason we got a dual with a 12 cup is for family and friends visiting. Unfortunately the 12 cup takes a lot longer to brew than any other coffee maker we ever had. We love the looks and the single cup thou!
