While both convenient and compact, the single cup dispenser can spit at times and will make a mess of your countertop if you do not use a tall cup to receive the brewed liquid.

I really like the coffee maker. It brews the coffee nicely. I have a problem with the pod side. I love the water reservoir and it brews well but there is too much space between the cup and the spout. When you brew one cup the coffee splatters out of the cup and gets on everything around it. There needs to be a platform about 2 1/2 inches tall to rest a single cup on.
