I have always had Cuisinart appliances. When it was time to replace our coffee maker I bought this model. I filled the reservoir for the single serve brewer and left the area. When I returned the counter was wet from the reservoir leaking. I did try it again and the same results. Needless to say we do not use the single serve brewer.

I bought the cuisinart coffee center 12 cup coffee/single serve brewer as a replacement for my Hamilton beach duo brewer. The cuisinart coffee maker has been great!! The materials feel a lot sturdier than my previous coffee makers.. it's also pretty easy to use once you've read the instructions.
My husband enjoys an extra hot cup of coffee. The cuisinart delivers and gives you a choice of "hot" options.
We mostly use the coffee pot side to brew multiple cups of coffee in the morning. However, the single serve side works well when I want to sample a k cup or brew a single tea bag . The cuisinart comes with a k cup holder and a separate holder for when you want to brew a single cup using coffee grounds or a tea bag.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because you have to be extra careful to align the components on the single serve single serve side to avoid spillage. This is no big deal, but should be noted to avoid user error. Also, one important note I picked up from another review...be sure to use the entire inserts for the single serve side when you do your first "cleaning" brew...this avoids any water spillage. (The instructions say the opposite, but not using the inserts will cause spillage.)
I have had my cuisinart coffee station for about 3 months and I highly recommend it for it's great coffee, durability, functions, and overall ease of use. My family uses this machine daily for coffee, hot cocoa, and tea. Works great!

In the month we have had it, everything has worked as expected. Once one the single brew we had coffee and grounds going all over but has only happened once. Not sure why this happened?

We have had this for 3 weeks & the ability to have a hot cup of tea or coffee anytime is great.
The coffeemaker does a wonderful job just like our old Cuisinart. The only issue I have with the coffeemaker is the difficulty getting the last bit of water out when filling the recepticle. It tends to spill into the voffee grounds when tipping the pot all the way over. Other than that we love it.
