The pot does make great coffee. It’s nice and hot and the flavor is fabulous. I have some trouble with the single brew side, I can’t seen to get the strength right, but that comes with practice. It’s me not the pot. My only issue is with pouring the water. If you are left handed it would not be a problem. It’s difficult to pour the water in the tiny well on the left side. That’s the only reason I didn’t rate it higher.

I purchased this appliance so that during the Thanksgiving holiday (we have a Large group, with some staying a couple weeks) we could have whole pots of coffee at meal times and then individual cups could be made by anyone who wanted coffee in-between. Worked beautifully! The only thing I wish is that the coffee temp would get a little hotter. Even on the hottest setting, I'd still like it a little hotter. No biggie. Would still recommend!

It is nice to have both options of K-cups and regular coffeemaker in one compact unit. My one wish is that is was easier to fill the main reservoir. It is hard to fill and not get water on the counter.

The only thing I have against this coffee maker is when you use the single cup side, it splatters all over. I use a 5” tall mug. I never had this problem with the Keurig I had. Raise the base a little more. Also, where the coffee comes out, it is not centered to the cup.

I love Cuisinart products and have always had their coffee makers. I just purchased this one, a little out of my price range but I got a good deal. My sons love the K cup side, I am the coffee pot side. I tend to drink coffee all day and so do they. Little problem is when they want a K cup, it turns off my coffee pot warming plate. It is set for four hours until they use the K cup side. One little thing that should be added to the design the next time around is a On/Off switch for the coffee pot plate itself, just in case the coffee pot turns off and I want to re-warm the coffee. On this design you can't set the warming plate to stay on, you would have to brew another pot. It's not a big problem in my house, I just warm up the coffee in the microwave or use the K cup side. But for others, I bet there would be an issue. I am very happy with my Cuisinart, I don't purchase any other brands.

One of option I liked was ability to select temperature of coffee but not initial brewing temperature, temperature control is to keep the brewed coffee. Coffee machine should have amount of cups to brew option rather than controlling with amount of water stored in water reservoir. Other than that so far so good.

I bought mine a month ago and have been very pleased with this product. It makes a wonderful cup of coffee and I feel that the water filtering system has a huge influence on that! The only I can think of to make it nearly perfect would be to make the single-serve cup platform adjustable in height to keep liquid from splattering when using a shorter cup.
