Prior to purchasing the captioned coffee maker, my wife and I had over 15 years of exemplary service with a Capresso coffee maker. We purchased the Cuisinart maker a month ago so cannot address long-term durability and reliability. But what I can say, after initial break-in per the Owner's Manual (OM) and a first full carafe of so-so tasting coffee, the device has continually made a superb cup of coffee. We did have to refer to the OM several times for the first week of so. Feature wise, the coffee maker is a versatile machine in terms of brewing, delayed brewing and warming time a temperature Tried the single-serve feature several times with satisfactory results in terms of meeting our expectations for a rapid and well brewed single cup of coffee. Only wish Cuisinart would offer an option for a compatible thermal carafe.

I tried another brand prior to purchasing this one and was extremely dissatisfied. I brought that one back and purchased the cuisinart model. Absolutely love this coffee machine. It makes such good coffee and is so easy to use.

I bought this over a month ago and I have used it a lot more than I thought. I had the one that made hot water, loved it also, for over a year. Husband wanted this one for one cup coffee in the afternoon and I would highly recommend it. You can still do hot water- and more! A definite go get it!

The coffeemaker is ok. I am not happy that you can't shut off the music it plays when the pot is done brewing and also that when you life the lid to remove the filter the water drips down everywhere. Considering the money I spent on the product I am not very happy.

Cuisinart was recommended to me by a family member that said she wouldn’t buy anything else. My husband will drink a whole pot of coffee and I’ve been left with nothing in the past. I enjoy being able to make a single cup anytime I want and to be able to have a variety of flavors.

The only complaint I have is the location of the water port for the large coffee side. Inconvient,hard to pour into the location,with the lid cover open. As a few other buyers mention , leaks after you pour water into unit.
