I bought this so I would only need one coffee appliance. I was looking forward to a trusted brand like quisinart. So far there are a few things that I liked better about my other two appliances. 1. I liked that the light blinked when the water tank was low on my previous single serve. The culinary does not, but there is an indicator light. 2. This is probably the most annoying- I set a timer for the auto shut off but there is no way to shut off, or know if it is shut off if the pot empties before the auto timer. One light is always on. I have shifted the know to a different option but I don't know if it really disengages the auto shut off unless I stood there to see if the heating element cooled off. 3. I can't get the Trader Joe pods to brew. 4. I had one instance where it would not brew a pod. It would squirt out a little water and make horrible noises. There aren't any troubleshooting instructions so I went through the cleaning and tried what they said to unclog. One tiny grain of coffee came out on the paperclip and then it worked. I only had the appliance for about a week when this happened so I am concerned there is some other problem but it has worked since then so I hope that continues. I really wish I could have combined my Mr. Coffee and Remington iCoffee. I loved them both. My son is ecstatic to get them for his home. I am adjusting and the coffee tastes fine. I will keep it, just expected Cuisinart would have ttaken the best of the best ideas - it just doesn't seem to live up to the brand- my opinion.

Love the idea of a coffee pot or single serve. It is just what we needed. The only thing to be aware of, you get less coffee than the 6, 8 or 10 ounces. About an ounce less than indicated.

We bought ours a few weeks ago and we love the great flavor of the coffee and easy to use. One problem is that the warming plate doesn't get very hot. You can put your hands on it and it and it is barley warm. Otherwise, we love it

this was exactley what I was looking for, you can have a single cup or make a whole pot expecially if you have a party you don't want people waiting around for single cups to pour,you can make a whole pot.
