I've owned this for 3 weeks & I really love the single serve option. My only complaint about the 12 cup side is no matter how many cups I make, there are always some grounds on top of the carafe and some in the bottom of the pot.

I replaced the Cuisinart 12 cup coffee maker that I had since 2007 which still worked fantastic so I gave it to my parents. I really like the idea of having a single cup and 12 cup all in one unit. I did notice though my normal scoop I use for a full pot needs to be adjusted since the new coffee maker needs more coffee in order to make it as strong as I’ve been used to from the old one. I still have not found the right measurement for the single cup or a 12 cup but it is a work in progress. I love love love this coffee maker and wonder why I did not purchase sooner. I have much trust in the Cuisinart brand.

I purchased the this a month ago and love it. I've had no problems with the coffee maker spitting out the coffee. One thing to mention is that if you use a K-cup, and you close the lid to hard, the hole created in the K-cup is too big and coffee grounds leak out. Also the plastic container that the K-cup fits into must be positioned correctly or it makes a mess. A solution is to use the single serve container that comes with the unit. The coffee actually tastes better using this.

Bought the new coffee maker as a replacement for our older Cuisinart Pod Coffee Maker which served us well for many years. We used that machine more than once every day that we were at home. Bought this new Cuisinart because I know that this machine will be just as reliable. Have several Cuisinart appliances and all of them are GREAT!
