Good coffee, except one little calibration error..

The carafe side makes great coffee! The single-serve side has an issue, however. Press the 10 oz button, get 12 oz; press the 8 oz button, get 10 oz; press the 6 oz button, get 8 oz. i doubt my water is any less dense than where this was designed!

Overall, this product definitely is a plus. I’ve had this brand of kitchen equipment since Chuck Williams of WILLIAMS SONOMA introduced it. It affords me to choose both group or single serving without changing out machines. I can’t think of anything BAD! The MESSY refers to the single option. The splatters are frustrating. I am guessing it is the design not being 100% in sync. Any ideas?

Love this space saver. The refill canister is so easy to pop out, fill and pop back into the single serve holder. I'm able to refill the single server canister while it is still under my top cabinets. There are some flaws as with any new concept. I experience the single serve spits or sprays out around the cup. I solved this by placing plastic storage lids under my cup as spacers placing the cup top close to the fill spout. Solved the clean up issue. The cup holder could have been extended another 0.5 inches to allow the cup to sit directly under the fill spout.

I love the fact that the coffee is much hotter than "the other brand"...its more compact and square and looks nice on the counter....the coffee has no metallic taste and love the fact I can use loose coffee for the single service if I want to - haven't yet but I can....I also have not used the 12 cup yet but glad its there.

I am a huge fan of Cuisinart products. As a former Housewares Dept manager with a major retailer, I highly recommended Cuisinart products. I purchased this Coffee Center with complete confidence, but have found the product lacking. The single serve feature is sloppy; upon first time use the water well carry handle broke; the drip coffee side is difficult to fill with water - always a mess and spills. I purchased this to replace an older Keurig coffee maker, but will likely stop using and go back to a Keurig maker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
