We enjoy this machine. We can make a potful of coffee or enjoy just one cup. So easy to use. It is programable. The single cup side has a reminder to add water. It comes with an adapter so you can brew a single pod of your own special coffee brand.

12 cup brews an awesome pot of coffee. The single side brews great coffee too, but the fact that it drips so slow causes it to splash out of the cup....if it had a more steady stream, it wouldn't be an issue. I still like having one less coffee maker on my counter so I just wipe up the splashes after each cup.

I Love Cuisinart coffee makers. We had one for 12 years and it still works! When I looked on line and saw that they make single cups only along with a full pot I just had to buy it. My husband and I are very happy to make just a cup now. We still make a full pot in the morning as we each drink 2-3 cups.

I bought this unit to replace an older Cuisinart single-cup coffee maker that was still working but making a loud noise. It was basically just worn out. This one has the coffee pot in addition to the single cup, which helps when several people want coffee. You get the best of both worlds, I suppose. I don't know of another one like that. Anyway, this one is easy to use and very quiet. I would recommend it to other people.
