works great...best of both worlds in one machine! if want to make a pot of coffee, easy to do, or just a single cup with a k-cup is easy as well. wish the water reservoir on the single cup was a bit larger..but not a big deal.

My husband bought this for my birthday. The single serve is the WORST! It would spill the grounds over no matter which single cup we used. We returned it within a week for a refund. I will stick with our 12 cup from Cuisenart which I love.

We recently moved into a new office suite and are sharing space with our IT department. We had two camps when it came to coffee - the "brew a pot" folks and the "coffee capsule" folks. This machine was a perfect solution for our staff. It has worked like a charm and the coffee from both the carafe and the capsule brewing is amazing. It was easy to set up and easy operate. We especially like the built-in timer so that we never have a pot of coffee sitting on a hot burner for more than an hour.

The option of making a pot of coffee for rmy husband to take to work and then have the option of the single cup for myself is great. the display is very good and was easy to set program for brewing. the overall design is nice and compact to fit on the counter.
