We like the option of a coffeemaker and a single serve brewer. We wish the holding tank for the single serve was larger so we did not have to fill so often. Other than that, we are happy with the Cuisinart.

I returned a less expensive three-way coffee make for this one. I’ve used several but have had it less than 3 weeks. So far it seems to have typical Cuisinart function and form- it’s very nice looking (although bigger than the other brand) and makes very good coffee. I can use my own coffee for espresso-like coffee or any single serve. Brewed coffee has very good flavor, the machine gets much flavor out of the coffee. I like the window for water on the single service and warning button when water is low. Blue back lights on controlls are a nice touch. Although it’s on the high end price wise for me, if it holds up well, as my other C small appliances have, I will continue to be happy with.

I have had this pot about a month and really love it. Cuisinart is top quality. I really appreciate the water reservoir on the single cup side...just one flaw...no lift for coffee mugs! It's probably okay for tall travel mugs which I don't use but for a regular size cup or mug the water splashes all over the place while brewing! I use something to lift but it's not a part of pot... I am surprised because usually Cuisinart thinks of everything.
