The regular coffeemaker part is great. The pod side is a problem. The base is way too low for a mug - it sprays all over and too short for a travel mug. I resolved the regular mug by putting a Pyrex clear custard dish upside down and put my mug on that. Now no splatters!

Bought this coffee maker because of the dual purpose. We live the versatility of it. Coffee is hot and bold!! Have had no problems so far. Just follow the directions.

My wife and I have been using this coffee maker for about 2 months now, and, for the most part, it’s a solid machine.
Issues are:
1. The k-cup side water stream is not steady. It goes in spurts which causes a little bit of a mess from splashing.
2. Per the instructions, it takes quite a bit of coffee when using the carafe side of the machine. I’ve tried to use less coffee to make a pot, but it just doesn’t taste right. One pot of coffee will get my wife and I about 40 oz but we need to use 8 scoops of coffee. From the k-cup side it only takes 5 scoops to make 40 oz.
3. It takes longer for a 10 oz coffee from the k-cup side than from our previous Cuisinart machine.

4. Smaller footprint than our last machine which was a k-cup only machine.

I am on my third machine. I only purchase the first one in August 2017. One blowout on the k-cup side and the other because the motor on the k-cup side blew/stopped working. Love the idea of one machine for both regular coffee and k-cup but until company makes the machine workable will not purchase again.

Great coffee maker but the issue is the K Cup brewer it definitely off center and a bit high, The coffee will splatter while brewing. Need to hold cup while brewing your cup or use your travel mug to avoid the splatter. Utter then that nice and good looking maker.
