I had been trying to decide about getting a single cup serving coffee maker but often need a full pot all at once. I did not want to take up more space on my counter top by getting two machines. This one just came to my attention and now I have both in one place.

The single cup feature makes a mess. Quality machine but design should have corrected this flaw. Had 12 cup brewer for many years so back to using that. A cuisnart of course.

Always had Mr coffee brand. Use our pot everyday, sometime twice a day. Wanted to get better quality this time, have only had for a month but so far very pleased. Coffee Is much hotter and pours very neatly from carafe. The kurig side is new to us; great feature to have but it does splash all over when dispensing. Quick wipe down and good to go but must keep on top of cleaning...

I love having the option to brew a pot of coffee or a single serve cup. I only saw 2 brewers that did this and chose the Cuisinart based on a friend's reviews of an older model. Out of the box, the quality seemed much cheaper than that older model (more plastic, less stainless, lightweight). I was expecting a much more solid appliance than this. First few days we used it, water leaked from the bottom, all over the counter. Still counting on the reputation of the name, we returned it for the same model. No leaking as of yet, seems to do the job. The single brew side nozzle isn't really centered over the cup rest area, looks as if the coffee might not actually go in
the cup. Long story short, I feel it's an overpriced cheaply made coffee pot at this point. I was really expecting more from Cuisinart.
