I received my Yeti 3000X + Ranger 300 BC about a week ago. I purchased an additional Ranger 300 BC, the 4x High Power Port Combiner, and the 30' extension cable to complete my set up. Everything works well so far. Only suggestion I have is to make the plastic covers on the metal corners of the solar panels more rugged. It appears several of them broke during shipping, likely when the box was dragged on the ground. I plan to use this as a home back-up system, and as a power source while camping.
I bought two Yeti 3000X (Open Box) power stations a few weeks ago. I live in CA and want to be prepared for outages. I specifically did not want a gasoline or natural gas generator. I like that I can charge these power stations via A/C or solar. A few days ago, we had a brief power outage in my neighborhood. I hooked the Yeti up to my WiFi router, and it worked! I had connectivity without having to drain my data. I also used it with my adjustable bed. Very satisfied with this purchase.
Have had it for a month and found it works well and keeps its charge for a long time! This is third yeti I have and now I have plenty of power to cover most of my needs!
So far everything is going great with my Yeti. I'm using it for my Christmas lights and look forward to having no electricity bill increase in December for the first time.
I had a 1500x and loved it...... this 3000x is fantastic and really eases the stress of traveling in our van. I don't worry about our 12v fridge ever losing power with this bad boy!
