I bought Yeti 1500X + 100BC solar generator. It's very easy to use and love the portability. 100% charged Yeti 1500X was good enough for continuous plugging of my Alexa and other chargers for phones and iPad. But 100BC solar generator is not fast enough to charge. So, I am considering buy more of solar generators.
Ready for the next power outage! We're amazed how long it will power the fridge and it allows us to keep working by powering wi-fi and computers. Will also add a margin of safety with water, heating and lighting needs. During FREQUENT power outages. We got the cart which is very sturdy and easy to move this heavy creature around where needed.
My 2022 Sprinter conversion van came with a Bluetti hooked up to the solar panels on the roof to power lights and the exhaust fan. The Bluetti never charged will and did NOT keep a charge all night. Once I installed the Yeti 1500X I was amazed at how efficient it was and how long it stayed charged. Also, it was charging faster and better (higher watts) than the Bluetti using the solar panels. I like the features that you can press a button to selectively turn on/off the AC or DC output - that is useful for me when I sleep on my air mattress. The only issue I had was finding a way to retrofit the cables from the Bluetti to the Yeti - nothing a little cutting and splicing couldn't fix, though. Very pleased.
This is my second Goal Zero power station and I'm still using my first one that has been in use for over 8 years and going strong. The 1500x is much bigger and intended for extended power outages that we are prone to, especially in winter. I won't say I'm looking forward to the next power outage but I will say that at least now, I'm prepared for it. Many thanks to Goal Zero.
