I bought my Yeti 1000x about a month ago. I also have two Yeti 500’s. I love them all. First charge for the 1000x went a bit faster than directions indicated. It was plugged into the wall. Second charge was only about 6 hours. Next will be a solar charger for them, Christmas is coming! My Yeti 1000x ran my larger than average refrigerator for 71/2 + hours. It still had 30% left before depleted. This was with us getting things in and putting stuff back as we cooked dinner. The ice maker was on, so it made two dumps of ice. The 1000x is to be for my refrigerator only. Minor adjustments on refrigerator will help the run time when plugged into the Yeti 1000x. My smaller 500’s are great too. Fans, a small space heater, laptop etc. all the smaller things. The space heater took up some power tho. We live in hurricane county. I’m sick of dumping out my food.
The boulder solar panels are WAY TOO HEAVY. the yeti 1000x is good. The boulder panels I would rather return and get the normad. Who designed this heavy thing and try to put it in a half zipped bag? Please Common sense goal zero engineers!!!

I took advantage of the sale and added this to my Goal Zero arsenal. I own the original lead/acid 1000-watt-hour Yeti, which has powered my 12V Engel coolers for over ten years. I also own the first lithium Yeti 1000. The Yeti 1000X is a nice upgrade with advanced charging options and USB C ports.
We recently purchased two X1000 Yeti because the first one we purchase the batteries on the one we purchased three years ago went dead and there is no service available to replace them. We still decided to purchase two more units because the special price was so good, however in testing the units out with a small refrigerator, we barely were able to get five hours of usage. I would say in an emergency, you're looking a keeping a single lamp burning for a few hours and maybe a refrigerator for a couple. Not really useful for major power outage such as the storm in Florida or North Carolina.
I have the older model of 1000, and I love it, powers what I need, lights, fan, cell phone camera, and solar fridge, but...it is slow on the charge though especially solar. As for the 1000x can't say for it is an early Christmas gift, LOL.
We have had a Goal Zero product through every power outage at our house in the past 4 years. Their products never falter or fail. Rest easy because Goal Zero has your back when the power goes out. Speaking from experience, Mt Baldy, 2024 Bridge Fire survivor.

Love it, been using it every trip so far. Wife enjoy making rice using the rice cooker. No more old school rice making which take some time.
